At the Milaca School Board meeting Tuesday, Feb. 19, superintendent Barbra Zakrajsek presented the assembly with a current printout of the state school funding numbers.

"School districts are ranked from the district receiving the most revenue per student, ranking 1, to the district receiving the least amount of revenue, ranking of 339," explained Zakrajsek in a press release dated Feb. 20. Milaca ranked No. 312. Just 27 other schools in the state receive less money than Milaca does while 311 school districts receive more money per student.
