It took six and one-half hours for 12 jurors to acquit 57-year-old Doug Luepke, Royalton, of all charges that he had raped a 14-year-girl in 2006.

Luepke was charged with criminal sexual assault by the Morrison County Attorneys Office in December 2008. The alleged victim had not come forth until September 2008. See more in Editor Terry Lehrke's Morrison County Record story.
