C.S. McCrossan Inc. of Osseo presented the apparent best value
design-build proposal for the construction of an approximately
three-mile segment of new Highway 610 in Brooklyn Park and Maple Grove.
The proposal of $47 million was the lowest of three bids received for
the new roadway.

McCrossan Inc. of Osseo presented the apparent best value design-build proposal for the construction of an approximately three-mile segment of new Highway 610 in Brooklyn Park and Maple Grove. The proposal of $47 million was the lowest of three bids received for the new roadway.
Construction will begin this September once the bid is certified and an award is made. The project will extend Highway 610 by approximately three miles, between Highway 169 in Brooklyn Park and Hennepin County Road 81 in Maple Grove.
Additional work includes construction of two interchanges (Highway 169 and Zachary Lane), three highway bridges and a pedestrian bridge, widening of the bridges that will carry Highway 610 over Highway 169, in addition to storm water ponds, noise walls, bus-only shoulders and other aesthetic
enhancements. Completion is slated for fall 2011.
