Children learn do's and don'ts of safety during camp

safetycamp.jpgThe Anoka County Sheriff's Office saturated young students with information on how to take care of themselves over the course of a two-day safety camp.

The annual safety camp was held in Andover and offered to students entering fourth or fifth grade and from communities the sheriff's office contracts with. See more in Eric Hagen's Blaine/Spring Lake Park Life story.

Ethan Unger, 10, pulls Jillian Olson to safety. Students learned how to be safe around the water and help others in danger at the Andover YMCA pool.
