In Memorium

Minnesota State Patrol Sgt. Dave Marquart was a columnist for ECM
Publishers online for three years. He fielded every question sent his
way, whether directly related to traffic safety or not. Readership of
his Ask a Trooper column was very high.

Sgt. Marquart died Feb. 18, 2007 after a valiant fight with cancer. He was 49.

In an introduction to his column, Ask a Trooper, Marquart said, “I’m here to help the public become safer and to assure everyone that they can depend on us.”

We at ECM Publishers are deeply indebted to the service Sgt. Marquart
provided our readers over the years. We are also thankful for his many
classroom sessions he provided our associates on the subject of traffic
safety.
