Memorial Day Ceremony at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery – Little Falls
The Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs invites the public to gather at the State Veterans Cemetery – Little Falls for the annual Memorial Ceremony Sunday, May 28. An instrumental prelude by the Richfield Symphonic Band will begin at 1:30 p.m. The formal program will begin at 2 p.m. and will include a placing of memorial wreaths, a fallen solider ceremony by the Korean War Veterans Minnesota Chapter 1, and a rifle salute by the Memorial Riffle Squad. Command Sergeant Major James Kampsen will be the guest speaker.
In honor of Memorial Day, the Military Museum at Camp Ripley will also be open for visitors.
Note: Due to the high number of attendees expected, the public is encouraged to bring lawn chairs and carpool, if possible.
Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery – Little Falls is located at 15550 Highway 115, Little Falls. The cemetery is located adjacent to highways 371 and 115, 7 miles north of Little Falls.
