Animal rights protestors called for Walter Palmer’s extradition from the 46th Street overpass of Interstate 35W in Minneapolis Friday afternoon.

A small group of animal rights activists held signs calling for the Bloomington dentist’s extradition to Zimbabwe to face charges for his illegal hunting of Cecil the lion in early July.

“Let’s not allow this man with a history of illegal hunting get away again,” Animal Rights Coalition Executive Director Dallas Rising said. “He must be held accountable for his actions.”
