Dean, Kendra and Donna Lange are a family that stays together by building together, and hope to finish their latest project by July 1.

Money may not grow on trees, but apparently houses do, at least for one tenacious family of do-it-yourself builders in Burtrum.

Dean and Donna Lange, and daughter Kendra Lange, have been hard at work for the better part of a year constructing a vacation cabin of 850 square feet, 18 feet in the air.

The tricky part, though, is that the trio has constructed the treehouse almost entirely by themselves from raw materials; every board comes from lumber that was milled (sometimes from trees on the property) for the family, which they then planed and sanded themselves.
