‘Sheldon’ helping keep teachers connected to their students in Caledonia

Caledonia schools is demoing a device provided by Double Robotics out of California.

The robot, which can hold an iPad device, can be operated by a user’s cell phone.

“About a month ago, high school teacher Amy Wild was going to be out of school for a bit and wanted a way she could remain engaged with her class,” Eric Jerviss, Technology Director for Caledonia schools said. “She found an Iowa school with a student who had used this device.”
