Sen. Klobuchar welcomes St. Cloud Honor Flight veterans

Washington, DC – U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar today (Wednesday, April 17) welcomed veterans from St. Cloud visiting Washington, D.C. as part of the Honor Flight Network.

Klobuchar met with veterans at the World War II Memorial and thanked them for their service.

“These veterans have sacrificed so much for this country and I was honored to have the opportunity to meet with them and thank them for their service,” said Klobuchar. “It is the least we can do to welcome these brave men and women to our nation’s capital to see the memorials that have been built in their honor.”

The Honor Flight Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to transporting veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials honoring their service.
