One Rosemount to feed families at home and abroad
Hunger is the No. 1 health problem worldwide, according to the United Nations.
Nearly 1 billion people don’t get enough food to be healthy, and it’s estimated that 31,000 children die each day of hunger-related causes.
A crew of Rosemount people will address that problem March 2 when they expect 1,200 people will pack 286,120 meals to send to Haitian refugees in the Dominican Republic.
One Rosemount, a group of Rosemount residents and officials, is organizing One Rosemount Feeding Families that aims to have a global and local “impact.” See more in Editor Tad Johnson’s Sun Thisweek story.
