Blaine man charged in bank robbery
A 55-year-old Blaine man accused of robbing a TCF Bank in Blaine on Nov. 17 was arraigned Nov. 20 in Anoka County District Court on a felony first-degree aggravated robbery charge.
Michael Lee Watts, 15 116th Ave. N.E., will make his next court appearance Dec. 19.
According to the criminal complaint, the Blaine Police Department at 10:34 a.m. Nov. 17 was alerted that a robbery had just occurred at the TCF Bank at 331 County Road 10. See more in Eric Hagen’s ABC Newspapers story.
