Anoka boys soccer coach Pete Hayes records milestone 300th win
In a town rich with history and tradition, Anoka Tornadoes boys’ soccer coach Pete Hayes “bleeds maroon.”

“I’ve been blessed to be able to coach and teach here – these kids are hardworking kids. That’s what you ask for and that’s what they give you,” Hayes said.
In fact, Hayes – who this season enters his 25th year as head coach of Anoka’s boys’ soccer team – gives high praise to those players as he reflects on his 300 wins on the soccer field. See more in Sue Austreng’s ABC Newspapers story.
