Two arson fires in same Coon Rapids location; public’s help is sought
Two arson fires within a few hours of each other late Sunday night and early Monday morning destroyed property at Creekside Mobile Home Park in Coon Rapids.
The fires were set in a storage area that Creekside residents use to park recreational vehicles (RVs), boats and snowmobiles at the rear of the mobile home park and 101st Avenue and Wintergreen Street N.W.
According to Coon Rapids Fire Marshal Todd Williams, firefighters were called to Creekside around 11:30 p.m. Sept. 16 where a RV, boat and trailer were destroyed by a fire. See more in Editor Peter Bodley’s ABC Newspapers story.
