Forest Lake soldier works with bomb detector dogs in Afghanistan

Spc. Alexander Reimer, a 2008 Forest Lake High School graduate, is serving in Afghanistan with the 4th Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division. To detect explosive devices, the team uses specially trained tactical explosive detection dogs.

The dogs accompany foot patrols, infantrymen from the brigade who have also been given specialized training in working with the dogs. See more in the Forest Lake Times.
