Teens stage Bands Against Cancer mega event in Blaine park July 27
A group of ambitious teen musicians from Spring Lake Park High School and recent graduates are staging a fund-raising event in front of Blaine City Hall.
Chris Nguyen, an incoming senior at the school and promoter, who has launched his own NguyenDustries, is the brainchild behind Bands Against Cancer. The event, open to all ages, will take place July 27 from 3 to 8:30 p.m. at Town Square Park, 10801 Town Square Drive N.E. Admission is $4.
Proceeds will go to the Minnesota Angel Foundation, a financial assistance program for people diagnosed with cancer, are in active treatment and meet foundation guidelines. See more in Elyse Kaner’s ABC Newspapers story.
