Armed man shot at disturbance call in North Branch
(Updated information now included) In North Branch, on the evening of July 8, a man was shot by a law enforcement officer and was later pronounced dead at a Twin Cities hospital.
Around 9:22 Sunday night, North Branch Police Officers were dispatched to 38090 Feaski Circle on a disturbance. As the officers were responding, it was reported that a male was inside of the residence armed with a firearm.
When the officers arrived, according to the press release from the North Branch Police Department, they were advised that the man possibly discharged the weapon prior to their arrival. See more in ECM Post Review story by MaryHelen Swanson.
