Serious-looking crash in North Branch yields only minor injuries

Numerous North Branch Police Department and State Patrol squads, a fire truck and an ambulance responded to a crash near the intersection of Highway 95 and Oakview Avenue around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday that looked worse than it really was.

State Trooper Joe Zafke, who was on the scene shortly after the accident, said authorities are still trying to piece together exactly what happened.

“It’s kind of chaos right now,” he said while an occupant of one of the vehicles was being loaded into an ambulance. See more in exclusive story by Derrick Knutson of the ECM Post Review.
