Coon Rapids Police call on hit and run driver to turn himself him
Police are asking the driver of a pickup truck who left the scene without stopping after striking a nine-year-old boy riding his bicycle in the area of 111th Avenue and Kumquat Street N.W., Coon Rapids, yesterday evening (Wednesday, June 13) to come forward.
The boy was identified today (Thursday, June 14) as Amir Kahron Taylor of south Minneapolis.
He remains in critical condition this afternoon at North Memorial Medical Center, Robbinsdale. See more in Editor Peter Bodley’s ABC Newspapers story.
