Two charged with felony theft after golf cart joyride in Apple Valley
Two men are facing a felony charge after allegedly stealing a golf cart and going for a joyride at the Kingston Green Apartments in Apple Valley earlier this year.
According to police, 22-year-old Edward T. Bowens and 19-year-old Deshawn T. Bowens, both of Apple Valley, were joined by a 17-year-old Burnsville male the afternoon of March 28 during their unauthorized ride on the cart, which is used as a maintenance vehicle by employees at the apartment complex at 15601 Foliage Ave. See more in Andrew Miller’s Sun Thisweek story.
