Decision to return to the farm was a good one for the Arnolds of Caledonia

Imagine a married couple being in the teaching profession for a combined 20 years, the bulk of that in the Twin Cities metro area, and then deciding to take up dairy farming in Houston County.

And imagine being in the dairy business for 28 years and deciding to make a substantial investment in their dairy operation at a time in life when most farming couples are selling out.

That, in a nutshell, is what Caledonia-area dairy farmers Fred and Barbara Arnold have done. See more in Editor Charlie Warner’s Caledonia Argus story.
