Blaine water tower at Aquatore Park gets special touch-up

Crews from Water Tower Clean and Coat, Inc., based in Lodi, Wis., were busy Thursday and Friday of last week cleaning up Blaine’s Aquatore Park water tower. According to John Lind, Blaine utilities department supervisor, the tower is cleaned by pressure washing once every three years. The tower’s letters are also repainted by an outside contractor; the giant lettering touch-up work usually takes two to three days. (Photo by Tim Hennagir, ABC Newspapers story.)
