Central Corridor Light Rail project highlights many Mn/DOT projects
The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) says motorists may experience delays as the left lane of the ramp from northbound I-35W to 3rd Street closes at 9 a.m. Monday, and Tuesday, May 14 and 15.
These lane closures are necessary as crews work on the Hiawatha Light Rail Bridge Corridor Light Rail Transit (CCLRT) Bridge that spans the freeway.
The left lane of the ramp will reopen by 3 p.m. May 14 and May 15.

Long-term closure scheduled for eastbound Highway 10 in Arden Hills
Motorists will experience delays and a detour as eastbound Highway 10, including the ramp from eastbound Highway 10 to eastbound I-694, closes at 8 p.m. Monday, May 14. The closure is between Ramsey County Road 96 and eastbound I-694. Access will be maintained to County Road 96.
In addition, the ramp from eastbound I-694 to southbound Snelling Avenue will close at 10 p.m. May 14. There will be no access from the interstate to southbound Snelling Avenue.
The closures are needed as crews rebuild the intersection of eastbound I-694 and eastbound Highway 10 at southbound Snelling Avenue.
Both eastbound Highway 10 and the ramp from eastbound I-694 to southbound Snelling Avenue will remain closed through November 2012 as the I-694 North Central Interchange reconstruction project continues.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted detours during the closures or use alternative routes to avoid congestion.0 7*
The I-694 North Central Interchange Reconstruction project (I-694/Highway10/Snelling and Hamline Avenues in the northern Twin Cities Metro area) began in September 2011. The project will result in improved traffic flow, with refigured lanes, rebuilt bridges and improved pavement structure in this high demand corridor.

Highway 13 detour near Highway 55 in Mendota Heights begins May 19
Motorists will encounter a detour and possible delays on northbound Highway 13 as the road is reduced to a single lane between Lemay Lake Road, near the Highway 13/55 overpass, and Sibley Memorial Highway at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 19.
All lanes of northbound Highway 13 will reopen by 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 22.
Southbound Highway 13 will be reduced to a single lane along the same segment of roadway at 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 22. All lanes of southbound Highway 13 will reopen by 9 a.m. Friday, May 25.
During both lane closures a signed detour will direct traffic along Sibley Memorial Highway.
The closures are needed as crews resurface the road as part of the 12-mile-long Highway 13 Better Roads project.
When complete, the project will result in a smoother ride, improved drainage, upgraded pedestrian crossings and signals that meet modern accessibility standards.

Highway 110 project continues
Motorists in the southeast Metro Area will encounter a detour and possible delays as Hwy 110/I-35E ramp and loop rehabilitation begins May 11.
Overall the work takes place on Hwy 110 between Lexington Avenue and the frontage road east of I-35E.
At 9 a.m. Friday May 11 the ramp from southbound I-35E to westbound Hwy 110 will close as crews rehabilitate the concrete surface. The ramp will reopen by Thursday May 17. Motorists must follow the posted detour.
At 10 p.m. Sunday May 13 the loop from southbound I-35E to eastbound Hwy 110 will close as crews rehabilitate the concrete surface. The loop will reopen by 6 a.m. Thursday, May 31.

Highway 3 scheduled to close just north of County Road 64 near Farmington
Motorists will encounter delays and detours on Highway 3 just north of County Road 64 between 195th Street and 170th Street, just north of Farmington, as crews replace a pipe beneath the roadway beginning Monday, May 14.
The road will close at 9 a.m. Monday, May 14 and reopen by 9 a.m. Saturday, May 19. A signed detour will direct drivers along County Road 64/170th Street, County Road 31/Pilot Knob Road and County Road 46/160th Street.
