Eden Prairie School Board selects Little Falls’ Tryggestad as its next superintendent

At a special meeting Friday, the Eden Prairie School Board unanimously approved a motion to begin contract negotiations with Curt Tryggestad to become the district’s next superintendent.

Tryggestad was one of three finalists who visited the Eden Prairie district this past week, took a tour of the facilities and were interviewed by the board. The others included Dr. Gerald Hill, the superintendent of schools from Glenview, Ill., and Dr. Michael Meissen, the superintendent of schools from Lombard, Ill. Tryggestad’s anticipated start date in Eden Prairie is July 1.

Curt Tryggestad has been superintendent at Little Falls Community Schools since 2006. See more in the Morrison County Record.
