Zimmerman’s one-act entrant is Civil War drama, “Antigone 1876″
“Antigone 1876,” a Civil War tale of tragedy heaped upon tragedy in a Union Army company at the end of the war, is Zimmerman’s entrant in the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) one-act play competition.
A public showing for the 35-minute play was Monday, Jan. 23, at 7 p.m. at ZHS. The play opened Saturday, Jan. 21, at the Granite Ridge Conference festival in Little Falls. The sub-section is set for Hermantown on Saturday, Jan. 28. See more in Star News story by Bruce Strand.
