2006 Cambridge-Isanti graduate enjoys career in world fitness

Emily Lind’s world revolves around fitness.  The 2006 graduate of Cambridge-Isanti High School now works as a fitness model, fitness competitor, health coach and motivational speaker.

This past year, she competed in four competitions including Fitness America – Las Vegas; Fitness Universe – Miami; Fitness Atlantic – Connecticut and The Great North. She had strong showings at the competitions, and is well on her way to making a name for herself in the fitness field.

Lind feels her time at CIHS helped prepare her for her future. While at CIHS, Lind served in many leadership roles, including class president and student council. “The small town feel was a source of comfort, while the rapid growing community provided plenty of opportunities,” Lind said.

Lind, performing a routine exercise for her, will be presenting on “The Importance of Taking Care of Your Body from the Inside” at 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 20 at the Cambridge American Legion. There is no cost to attend, and anyone is welcome. (Photo by Rachel Kytonen, Isanti County News)
