Former president Clinton, Vice President Biden to visit Minnesota
The Dayton for Governor campaign has announced that former president Bill Clinton will visit Minnesota next Tuesday evening, Sept. 14, to campaign for former U.S. senator Mark Dayton.
The campaign also announced that Vice President Joe Biden will visit Minnesota the afternoon of Oct. 5 to campaign for Dayton.
Dayton some weeks ago said he was trying to arrange a visit to the state by the vice president.
Dayton is not attending a gubernatorial candidates’ forum Wednesday evening at St. Joseph’s Hospital in St. Paul — Republican gubernatorial candidate Rep. Tom Emmer and Independence Party candidate Tom Horner are expected to attend.
The Dayton campaign said the candidate has a scheduling conflict.
