Independence Party issues statement on Hahn
The Independence Party (IP) has issued a statement concerning IP gubernatorial candidate Rob Hahn.
Media reports have Hahn confirming that his ex-wife has a protection order against him stemming from a March 2009 incident.
“The Independence Party of Minnesota takes accusations of domestic violence very seriously,” said IP Chairman Jack Uldrich.
“Some in the public may be under the false impression that the Independence Party condones either Rob Hahn’s actions or his candidacy for Governor. We do not,” said Uldrich.
IP delegates overwhelmingly endorsed public relations expert and political commentator Tom Horner at the state convention, the chairman notes.
