Don Dallman of Princeton VFW elected state commander

dallmanIn the technical sense Don Dallman, Cambridge, is retired. He no longer works for Plastic Products, where he spent the last 14 years of his career. Nor does he work any longer as a mechanic for Veteran’s Auto Service, a garage he once owned with Loren Papesh.

But in a realistic sense, Dallman is nowhere near retired. In fact, he’s as busy now as he ever was before, with his current obligations working to aid veterans through the VFW.

Elected by the statewide VFW members, Dallman becomes the second VFW member from Princeton to ever be elected to the state commander position. He is also the first VFW member to be elected to the position from Post 806. See more in Editor Chris Schafer’s Princeton Union-Eagle story.
