Education Minnesota gives Sen. Tarryl Clark the nod
Education Minnesota has endorsed Sen. Tarryl Clark, DFL-St. Cloud, for Congress in the 6th Congressional District.
Education Minnesota President Tom Dooher said Clark’s work ethic, willingness to listen to educators and work with them, and her strong campaign made her the best choice for the union.
“Our members were impressed with Tarryl Clark’s passion, her grasp of the issues and her commitment to working with us to benefit Minnesota’s students,” Dooher said.
“We look forward to helping elect a representative from the 6th District who will fight for students, educators and public schools,” he said.
According to the union, 6th District Congresswoman Michele
Bachmann, R-Stillwater, did not fill out the required form to screen for endorsement.
Clark is in a DFL endorsement contest against Dr. Maureen Reed, former Independence Party candidate for lieutenant governor.
Recently Bachmann, when asked whether she preferred to run against Clark or Reed, indicated that she didn’t care.
But she was looking forward to the debate.
