Maureen Reed announces campaign staff hires
Sixth District Congressional DFL candidate Maureen Reed today announced the recent hiring of staffers for her campaign.
Veteran campaigner Jason Isaacson, who recently worked for the Franken for Senate campaign as an consultant, was named campaign manager.
“Jason has extensive experience and expertise in field organizing and management, especially in Minnesota’s sixth congressional district,” said Reed.
“In fact, Jason was the field director for the last democrat who won the sixth district. Jason will lead a strong staff that will help wage a strong campaign to challenge and beat (6th District Republican Congresswoman) Michele Bachmann,” she said.
Among other staff developments, Reed announced that the campaign had entered into a working relationship with Lake Research Partners — Reed deemed company president Celinda Lake one the party’s leading strategists.
Reed campaign will also be working with Sandberg Communications.
Reed and Sen. Tarryl Clark, DFL-St. Cloud, are vying to become the DFL challenger in the 6th District.
