One area skater on NHL's Central Scouting radar
Anoka forward Berkley Scott was the only ABC Newspaper-area hockey player to make the final NHL Central Scouting reports. According to the midterm rankings he was the 94th American skater before dropping to 125 in the final rankings. Last season Scott tallied 32 points and 36 penalty minutes in 26 games. In 2007-08 he collected 19 points and 10 penalty minutes in 14 games.
