Religious community rallies to support soldiers, military families in Apple Valley
A congregational care conference will take place at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church on Saturday, April 25, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for anyone interested in developing a ministry for veterans and their families in the Apple Valley churches and community.
Shepherd of the Valley is working along with the Minnesota National Guard’s Beyond the Yellow Ribbon team in putting together the event.
Military families often endure stress, broken plans, and other damaging results of having a loved one serve in the military.
And often this stress goes undetected.
