Former state auditor Anderson named to new post
The Minnesota Free Market Institute has named former state auditor, state commissioner and Eagan mayor Pat Anderson its incoming president. Anderson succeeds founding President David Strom, who will remain a senior policy fellow with the institute.
Anderson, a conservative Republican, has been a critic of local government aid (LGA) and a study conducted by the state auditor’s office during her tenure drew harsh comments from some lawmakers from Greater Minnesota.
