Barkley may not run again but will remain politically active
Independence Party U.S. Senate candidate Dean Barkley sounded optimistic on Election Day.
“Anything can happen,” said Barkley.
Barkley put some perspective on the hard fought U.S. Senate race.
“The world’s not going to end whoever gets elected tonight,” said Barkley.
We’ll all survive, he said.
Barkley found time to play nine-holes of golf on Election Day, scoring a 41.
The former U.S. Senator spoke of breathing more life into the third party movement in Minnesota now that he’s back in the state full time.
Barkley had been doing political consulting in Texas.
He may or may not run for office again, said Barkley, but he’s not getting out of politics.
