Rod Grams sees Gov. Pawlenty politically preening for possible big step

Former Republican U.S. Senator Rod Grams believes Gov. Tim Pawlenty has a good chance — better than fifty-fifty — winding up Sen. John McCain’s vice presidential runningmate.
Why is Pawlenty the only vice presidential candidate out making policy speeches around the country, Grams ponders.
Why aren’t others, like Mitt Romney, out doing the same, asked Grams, speaking on Thursday (Aug. 7).

“The one guy out there is Tim Pawlenty. I think he almost must have been given the task to build name recognition and credibility”
